Leigh and Bob have owned thoroughbred racehorses as early as 1993, claiming their first horse with Jerry Hollendorfer and Nick Alexander. Since then we have been part owners in many successful horses (with other partnerships and some as the purchasing owner):
- Turbulent Descent, multiple G1 stakes winner earning ~$1M on the track and sold for $3M
- Eskenformoney, G3 stakes winner earning $757k and sold for $750K
- Lovemesomeme, stakes placed multiple-winner earning $284k and sold for $350K
- Tonasah, G2 and G3 placed earning $197k and sold for $385k
- Firsthand Report, three time stakes winner earning $332k and sold for $250k
- Takechargedelilah, stakes winner earning $260k and sold for $230k
- Hidinginplainsight, stakes winner earning $152k and sold for $150k
- Orbolution, G3 placed earning $164k and sold for $325k
- Sweet Sense, Bob and Leigh bought at auction for $60k and sold half of after her first race for whole horse value of $250k
The above list consists of all fillies and mares. As you can tell we much prefer fillies and mares due to their residual broodmare value after they are done racing. Daytona Stable will only buy fillies and mares due to this reason.
